I tried to get a good pic of the boys together this afternoon but their curiosity prevented it. See our lovely Christmas tree in the back? Time has not been on our side so we didn't get a Christmas tree this year. Today I wrapped all the presents and they NEEDED a tree.
Soooooooo, I made due with what we had. I can't have Christmas presents just sitting in a corner-- they belong under a tree... even if it IS the one that sits by the couch as a decoration the rest of the year. Throw some lights on it and voila. (...and yes, that is a tanning bed in the pic, too. We took it out of the salon. I'm not a big tanner, it's just sitting there, lonely, not even plugged in.) We have a very unusual home. That is one reason we are looking forward to our new house SO much! This home doubles for storage for the businesses... we will leave it and all the stored items behind!)

This is a tree in our back yard. It is always pretty to see the change. I think this is God just keeping things in life interesting and beautiful in sight... because, really... why do trees HAVE to change and loose their leaves? It's all part of the show. Thanks, God.

Riggs and
Izzak each saw Dr. Black in town for their "surgery" and they weighed in while they were there. Riggs weighed in at
98 lbs, and
Izzak not far behind at
94! Six month old boys... they are right on track to be around the 200 lbs range. Total together they will be nearly FOUR HUNDRED pounds of pure love. Never will you meet such sweet boys, and Palmer, too, of course. I think they could only be happier if they were really physically attached at my hips. I can not take one step forward, backward or side-to-side without them right there with me. If I happen to get around a corner out of their site I can hear their slow lag of a walk pick up to a speedy trot until they see me. Also, if I am walking and decide to abruptly stop
Izzak runs into the back of legs and the Riggs runs into him. They will be excellent guard dogs.

The boys got to play outside a lot and I think Riggs was loving life here.

Usually
Izzak is my curious George, but Riggs just couldn't stand not to see where that sound was coming from. This is my new desktop picture. They bring me so much joy. (especially since the potty training thing has set in! Hallelujah, finally... whew... they were mounds and lakes, people, you have no idea the
relief when I say, "whew".)

I love dogs.... Mandy, no fake bake... Get rid of that tanning bed, they are linked to skin cancer.... dogs! Yay!
I had both dogs this last week and one guest, Zydaco, Doug's little dog. They only had one accident of the solid variety, so I can appreciate what getting your rather large dog's potty trained means to you and Ken. Love Bud
