Sweet Creatures

He is so familiar with the camera that now he will just sit and be so still---but, only for a couple seconds. Then he starts to make a low "gruff" sound while still holding still- kind of like a child gritting their teeth and saying, "Moooom... come on- are you done yet?!"

This pretty lady managed to get in our home and was sunbathing upstairs. She was a very quiet guest! ;)

Palmer was surly having a crazy hair moment here. He is our little man and we sure love him and his crazy hair!

Family Time (Part 2)

Two weekends ago the family celebrated Danny's birthday here in Sulphur Springs... and what does that mean? Planes, skeet, great food and fun times. We had a really fun day with the family! Here are some memories!

Firstly, Our Sweet Palmer. Ken and I began our day going to the land to check on it and Palmer got to go, too! This makes his heart race and tail teeter-totter from side to side at a ridiculous pace just at the mention of it. He simply adores riding in the car and I think the look look in his precious eyes says it all.

Koen helped Pappy by washing one of the airplanes in the hanger. This airplane is named Old Yeller. After Scrappy, the one they are currently building, is completed, Old Yeller is next! Koen worked very hard with his shop rag and little bucket of water. He was so content in his own little world.

Danny got Oscar all checked and ready to fly. It was a great day for it!
Not long after that, they were off! Danny properly named the air field there at their home "Grasshopper Field" because come summertime there are thousands of grasshoppers everywhere!

Big Red was very happy to have all his doggie cousins there to play. They had all just came back from a swim.

The buds are blossoming on the trees everywhere! I can't wait until spring! It is definitely my favorite season- not only because of the beautiful weather, but also the amazing colors that flourish.

This is hard to see but in the sky towards the top of this picture you can see the skeet was blasted to a million pieces. Everyone there that day was so great at this skill!

PaPa, Ken and Kyle chatting. PaPa was in charge of the skeet throwing!
Even Kim shot that day. Danny was helping her get lined up... isn't that so sweet?

This is my shell bouquet. I bet five hundred shots were fired that day and there were shells everywhere laying with the flowers. So, I played a little. :)

A beautiful sunset to a beautiful day.
Everyone enjoy the weekend!

Family Time (Part 1)

The sunset in Azle, amazing colors.
Hello! My brother and Kris came to visit us two weekends ago and it was so great to see them! Ken and I drove out to Azle on that Sunday and spent some great time with all of the family, (and we got to eat the oh-so-delicious El Paseo Mexican Restaurant... my all-time favorite). Here are some pics I got from the visit.

This is Collin, my nephew... quite the handsome little fella, isn't he?

Although, handsome, he is still a boy and devised a game in which they collected grass balls and ran across a fence and tried to hit each other with those grass balls... I think he had a direct hit with this one!

Ainsley was chasing and throwing it on him... I guess she figured this to be a better, more direct, way of getting him with the grass ball. She's a smart girl.

After the grass fight, I looked at the back door and she was standing it it just watching the whole family in the living room. Intense face!

This is little Nate, and the weenies, Sorella and Annie! They loved him and he was so very patient with them! They licked and licked and licked and he would just laugh and smile!

Sweet happy Nate. He seems to be happy ALL the time!! Ken & I should keep praying to have a happy and easy child like him someday!

He was just hanging out here... he loves to hang upside down and would giggle...

This is Uncle Bubbi- my brother, Adam, holding little Nate. Two very happy guys!

This is Chandler showing off her tough tattoo and mean face... I wouldn't mess with her. She was a good hitter with the grass balls too!

I simply adore this picture of Nate and that slobber bomb... and doesn't he have the brightest eyes??
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Next post will be about Danny's, (my dad-in-law) 52nd birthday we just celebrated this past weekend!
Enjoy your time this week.

Sweet Brooke is 3!

Our cousins' little girl is three now and we did some pics of her this week! What a fun time! She is so very photogenic and such a doll... Katie, her baby sister is precious just the same! What personalities they have. Enjoy!!
