My 28th birthday was back on January 8th and we had a great family night... without my side of the family, which would have made it even BETTER than it already was! Those of you who have your family close by, I hope you get to be thankful for that. I would LOVE to have more family around- all around! I miss them terribly and love getting to see them when I am lucky enough to.
Ken's parents, brothers Kris and Kyle, and sis Candace and her boyfriend Chase, all ate at a yummy place in Rockwall called Primos and man it was delicious. Candace got me an awesome cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory- a fav of mine, hence the weight gain. El Paseo chips and salsa and cheesecake would for sure be my last meal if I were to get to choose. After dinner we went to Shenanigans for some bowling and games... anyone been there yet? It is SO fun! We all got to bowl on the same lane and Chase and Ken were neck and neck and it came down to the very last bowl and Chase one my ONE point! It was crazy. I kicked Chase's booty in basketball later... more than once... THREE times! We have an ongoing basketball battle anytime we are around it. Sometimes he wins, but not at my party! Sorry Chase-- maybe next time! :)~
It was a great birthday and I look forward to the next. Maybe we will have a bambino by then! Please Lord, we are ready when you are!
My sweet husband and me.
The happy newly engaged couple, Kris and Alisha and myself.
Hunny getting his bowl on. He looked adorable in his bowling shoes... he won't hardly step out of his boots unless he has to.
The next ones to get engaged... uh hummmmm.... CHASE????? (lets get that ball rolling!)
Kyle... he could do the cool move where he just held the ball in his hand and slung it and made it spin like crazy.
This is where the guys parked for about an hour and a half. When we build our main home we will have an arcade/game space and I think we will get one of these. ...and the crane toy machines for Ken to play all the time.... and a basketball one for me and Chase to duke it out... and ping pong! I love ping pong!
One of the slaughter games... one time I beat him 41- 30 something. Love this game.
Alisha was loving the tickets that came out when you finished a game. Something about good ol' games that brings out the fun in things. Thanks everybody for all the birthday wishes throughout the day! It was a great one!
Lots of love,
M
