Sweet Grande Loves of Ours

Ken snapped a pic of me with our sweet growing boys. They are getting to be a real handful living in the house with us... Izzak stole and ate a RED SHARPIE last week- ON THE CARPET, and Riggs decided he wanted to sharpen his teeth on our tv remote, 3 DIFFERENT TIMES. They are sweet, but still puppies so it's all about patience still. We love them and all their puppy ways.

I don't consider my hunny grande in size, but my love for him is! Sitting by a campfire at our land with Danny, Kim, Candace, Chase, Kyle and his friend Ashely... it was a fun day of riding four wheelers, exploring and cooked-over-the-fire hot dogs. Great day.

Danny, Ken and Chase built us the best fire!

Have a wonderful week this week. Sunshine, we are ready for you!

Love to all,
Mandy

Blessing

A tiny miracle has arrived. Such a sweet friend of mine has had her bundle of joy and the whole event was absolutely amazing. I bet I stared at her for a good half hour just noticing God's handy work was so evident in that she already had little wrinkles on the bend of her fingers and piggies, she got so quiet and still when her momma held her, and at the thought she will grow to be such a special individual individual. Ken's granny, just told me last week that it is amazing that even when babies are in the womb God has already given them their own thoughts, favorite colors, likes and dislikes... isn't that amazing? Any who, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We are still praying for our own little blessing.

Lots of love,
M

Brings out the fun

The snow came and came and came and came... never have I ever seen it like this. Here are some pics to recap the last two days...

Oh no...

Brotherly love

Sweet Jolea
Reese
She smiled so big after this... go figure.

Maverick and Jennifer, (mommy)
Riggs and Palmer's prints. Extra small and extra large.
Our pond
Palmer and his snowballs he carried around in his beard... too funny.
He had to LEAP to get through it. His little six inch legs just didn't cut it.
Our boys
A VERY happy Izzak!

Sinking so deep
Alli's first snow!

I got out my macro lens and held out my furry coat arm and let snowflakes land. Isn't our Lord amazing? He makes everything so unique and intricate, even the snow...
Our road
Part of our back yard

Here are some pics of the new guest house during the snowy time! Little progress... waiting on cabinets to finish being built...
View of the back area.

View out the front doors. Don't you just love snow? (for a little while anyways)

OH- OUR INTERIOR DOORS! I love them- they are exactly what I wanted... so exciting!
Greengo- one of our tractors stuck out in the cold, with a snow hat.

I hope everyone has been safe and happy!
Enjoy the weekend!

Commercial

I normally don't do commercials on my blog but I just have to say... I LOVE THIS THING! With our two gargantuan pups trudging through our house and playing on the stairs, what little carpet we have in this old house has significanly suffered. This is a miracle cleaner and works like a charm. We used it several months ago and the spots we cleaned never came back like when using traditional carpet cleaner solutions. I used it again today and fell in love all over again. Just thought I'd share.
Spot Bot, we love you.

Birthday Fun

My 28th birthday was back on January 8th and we had a great family night... without my side of the family, which would have made it even BETTER than it already was! Those of you who have your family close by, I hope you get to be thankful for that. I would LOVE to have more family around- all around! I miss them terribly and love getting to see them when I am lucky enough to.

Ken's parents, brothers Kris and Kyle, and sis Candace and her boyfriend Chase, all ate at a yummy place in Rockwall called Primos and man it was delicious. Candace got me an awesome cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory- a fav of mine, hence the weight gain. El Paseo chips and salsa and cheesecake would for sure be my last meal if I were to get to choose.

After dinner we went to Shenanigans for some bowling and games... anyone been there yet? It is SO fun! We all got to bowl on the same lane and Chase and Ken were neck and neck and it came down to the very last bowl and Chase one my ONE point! It was crazy. I kicked Chase's booty in basketball later... more than once... THREE times! We have an ongoing basketball battle anytime we are around it. Sometimes he wins, but not at my party! Sorry Chase-- maybe next time! :)~

It was a great birthday and I look forward to the next. Maybe we will have a bambino by then! Please Lord, we are ready when you are!

My sweet husband and me.

The happy newly engaged couple, Kris and Alisha and myself.
Hunny getting his bowl on. He looked adorable in his bowling shoes... he won't hardly step out of his boots unless he has to.
The next ones to get engaged... uh hummmmm.... CHASE????? (lets get that ball rolling!)
Kyle... he could do the cool move where he just held the ball in his hand and slung it and made it spin like crazy.
This is where the guys parked for about an hour and a half. When we build our main home we will have an arcade/game space and I think we will get one of these. ...and the crane toy machines for Ken to play all the time.... and a basketball one for me and Chase to duke it out... and ping pong! I love ping pong!

One of the slaughter games... one time I beat him 41- 30 something. Love this game.

Alisha was loving the tickets that came out when you finished a game. Something about good ol' games that brings out the fun in things.

Thanks everybody for all the birthday wishes throughout the day! It was a great one!

Lots of love,
M
