(That's "Hello" in Shanghainese)
Today we went to Barnes and Noble and got seven books on Shanghai... Ken said we SHOULD know how to speak their language by the time we get there after the forever-long flight. This is where we are getting to stay, LOVE the name, makes me giggle. I will be thinking of Palmer, our little dog, Pootie is one of his thousand nicknames, but one we use frequently... we will be missing our babies when we are gone. We will have to hit up the Pudi Afternoon Tea, just sounds fun, doesn't it?! Who does afternoon teas any more? Pretty cool.
We are two blocks from all the shopping, supposed to be the greatest shopping area in the WORLD! I'm getting more and more excited about it all!
We are going to try to meet up with Ken's cousin over there, Robert. He and his family live there- he's a genius and works over there as an engineer.
I hope everyone had a great weekend... ours was cold, windy, wet and snowy. Welcome spring!
ming dsaw way (goodnight!)
